Hello, my name is Fatima Cortez and am currently a student at Washington State University. I was raised in Eastern Washington and attended Royal High School and Big Bend Community College. I was a Running Start student, so I graduated with my high school diploma and Associate’s in Arts and Science degree at the same time.

The purpose of this blog is to post my COM 210 assignments. I also want to look back at this page and see my previous assignments and how I’ve developed in using the software and in general with my work.

I love to do all sorts of activities, but I love to write, even though I don’t do it as often as I once did. I have done a few creative writing pieces, but I mostly journal my adventures in life. I also love to watch crime shows and documentaries. My favorite show is Criminal Minds and have rewatched it multiple times. One random fact is that I have a rare heart disease, but no one really knows about it because it doesn’t really affect me.

I aspire to be a local news reporter. I have always wanted to be a journalist and decided to stay local because I love the community I live in. I have given some thought to be an international reporter, though. Whatever I end up doing, I know it will be in journalism and will know that I love.
